A little piece of remote Paradise…The Uma by Como.
The Uma by Como Ubud, a little piece of paradise and absolutely perfect if you are looking for a hideaway in the middle of nowhere (I mean in the middle of nowhere).
The rooms are beautiful (we stayed in a Pool villa). It had an amazing big bath, beautiful bed and a brilliant outdoor area with a swinging bed – delish!

I loved the spacious outdoor living area and of course the pool.
I was lucky to be there for Valentines weekend (think Rose petals in the bath) and it was just beautiful.

They also have a fabulous tennis court (one of the best workouts even if I am terrible at it) and a really nice area to walk around the grounds – you truly can get lost. They also have a hidden pool in the middle of nowhere which was quite a find AND a stunning walk along the natural spring/lake. It is so lush and green – great healing can take place in an environment like that!

Ooo and the spa was also excellent. Como…you know how to do a spa! The décor makes you want to camp there and never leave!
The one disappointment? The gym! It was small and not very well equipped.
This really is a beautiful place but again in the middle of nowhere so if you’re looking for life outside the resort, I’d stay closer to town.
